Manufactured either based on a combination of contact material in solid wire form or composite material, it offers multiple advantages including cost saving, precise mini dimensions, good surface finishing, excellent wear resistance, high welding strength and stable electrical performance.
Material Configuration
Solid Profile Form
Available in AgCuNi, AgCuPd, AgNi and AgSnO2. Other silver alloys are available on request.
Composite Surface Layer
Available surface area for composite profile wire includes Au, AuAg, AuPd, AuNi and AgCuPd.
Composite Center Layer
Center layer for composite profile wire are available in Ag, AgNi, AgPd, AgSnO2, AuAg, AuPd and Pd.
Composite Base Layer
Base layer available for composite profile wire includes Cu, Ni, CuNi and CuSn6.
Applications
Due to its excellent surface finishing and precision macro dimensions, custom profile wires are primarily used for consumer electronics.
